Gachagua’s Speech Cut Short After Man Issued Unexpected Demand

During a church fundraiser in Nandi County, an unexpected turn of events unfolded as the Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua, was delivering his speech.

In the midst of his address, a middle-aged man emerged from the crowd and boldly made his way towards the podium, causing a temporary halt to the proceedings, which made the security guards move with speed and try to stop him, were it not for Rigathi’s intervention, who told them to relax.

The man himself looked desperate and needy. He went on to tell the deputy president that he needed some assistance from him.

The man told him that they had a previous mate and that he now wants to present a letter to him detailing his concerns.

Before he could even finish voicing his complaint, the deputy president told him not to worry since he would seek out his problem. He then instructed his personal assistant to attend to him.

He further ordered the man to be given a seat in the VIP section since he is his visitor, hence causing the congregants to cheer the deputy president up for giving the young man, who seemed to be going through a lot of trouble, a shoulder to lean on.

Rigathi went on to tell the congregants that he came to Nandi so that he could address the needs of the people, saying that he will make sure the man gets the assistance he wanted.
