Worrying Silence From CS Mutua Since Losing Foreign Affairs Docket

Tourism and Wildlife CS Alfred Mutua has been silent since President William Ruto suddenly plucked him out of the Foreign Affairs docket on Wednesday.

The CS has maintained a zero digital footprint since he was removed from one of the most powerful ministries in the country.

He remains the only Cabinet Secretary to not acknowledge the changes made by the Head of State.

Peninah Malonza who was transferred from the tourism docket reacted to the change by stating, “I wish to express my gratitude to H.E President William Ruto for entrusting me with an incredible opportunity to serve the people of Kenya in a different capacity following the recent reorganisation of the government.”

Moses Kuria who was also affected by the changes noted that he would serve in any capacity as seen fit by the President.

Former Water CS who now heads the Lands docket Alice Wahome also acknowledged the changes and promised to deliver in her new assignment.

“I take this opportunity to thank H.E The President of The Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces for the appointment as The Minister for Lands , Public Works , Housing and Urban Development,” Wahome reacted to the reshuffle.

Mutua was also notably missing in a sub-committee cabinet meeting convened yesterday by Deputy Rigathi Gachagua at Karen Official Residence.
