Truth About ODM Being a Corrupt Party

Corruption appears to have crept into every facet of political parties in the world of politics and the ODM party is no different.

The party’s questionable ways of dismissing honourable members to make room for their family members to succeed them have recently caused controversy. It almost seems as though people only hear about democracy but never put it into practice.

Hon. Jalang’o from Langata, Hon. Ochanda from Bondo, Hon. Odhiambo from GEM and Hon. Caroli from Suba South have all been expelled by the ODM Party on different occasions.

The legitimacy of ODM is now in doubt since these honourable individuals were used as pawns to allow family members to join the race. Blogger Mutai claims that it appears like the party’s leadership is comprised primarily of avaricious individuals who have an unquenchable desire for power.

They intend to make room for John Mbadi, Jaoko Oburu, Jalang’o Midiwo, and Raila’s daughter, for whom they are using dubious means of expulsion.

It is concerning that they would dismiss devout and honourable members for those with little prior political experience, as demonstrated by John Mbadi’s case.

In ODM, the political game has gotten shady. The party is now placing a higher value on favouritism and nepotism than on democracy and member honesty. Witnessing how one of the most renowned political parties has degenerated into this situation, where justice is scarce, is terrible.

The people of Kenya should demand reform from their political leaders in light of the recent events, lest their voices go unanswered. Leaders who are prepared to prioritise the needs of their constituents before their own interests are what the nation needs.
