John Mbadi Changes Tune on His 2027 Political Plans

Nominated member of Parliament and also Orange Democratic Parrying chairman Mr John Mbadi has today revealed that he will be going back to seek for the Suba South MP seat in 2027.

This was revealed by the politician as he toured several parts of Homa Bay County and Nyanza during the weekend.

The former Suba South member of parliament said that he will be going back to where he was initially as the current leader Mr Caroli Omondi had failed the constituents who took him to office.

Mr John Mbadi said that Mr Caroli had shown a lot of disrespect to the party that sponsored him to Parliament when he opted to support President William ruto.

Caroli won on an ODM ticket but then he decided to show allegiance to President William Ruto who is of the Kenya Kwanza coalition after the elections.

He has not yet declared publicly on crossing over but him working with Mr William Ruto alone doesn’t sit with a majority of members from the constituency who see it as disrespect to Kingpin Raila Amollo Odinga.

In a recent meeting Mr Caroli said that his dalliance with the ruling coalition had made the constituency get a lot of developments that didn’t come when the former MP that is John Mbadi worked with the opposition.

Mr Caroli said that he won’t hesitate and will do anything to see that the people of suba South benefit in terms of development. When speaking, Mr John Mbadi who in 2022 had set his eyes on the governorship position before he stepped down said that the constituency deserves a better leader and not one who disrespects them like Caroli had done.
