Kenya Kwanza Finally Agrees With Azimio Team

National Assembly Leader of Majority Hon Kimani Ichungwa has changed his tune on matters that Azimio la Umoja and Kenya Kwanza Alliance will discuss during the bipartisan talks that are scheduled to proceed on the 21st of August, 2023.

While speaking in the National Assembly on Wednesday, the vocal Kikuyu constituency Member of the Parliament stated that they will allow the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance to table their grievances on matters concerning the cost of living.

Kimani Ichungwa said that it is high time that the two leading coalitions listen to each so that they solve their differences once and for all. Ichungwa further said that the issue of the cost of living is a matter of the national government to formulate policies that will lower the cost of living but they will sit down and listen to what Azimio la Umoja has to say.

This comes after the Kalonzo Musyoka-led team presented several issues that they want the government to address. Top of the list was the cost of living, the opening of IEBC servers, the noninterference of political parties and party hopping as well as the reconstitution of the IEBC commission.
