Raila Makes Major Change on Requiem Mass

Azimio One Kenya leader Raila Odinga has made a last minute changes after police officers denied Azimio One Kenya Coalition permission to hold their requiem mass at De Paul Grounds.

In a report via the Nation, Azimio have swiftly announced to their supporters and allies that the meeting will be held at SKM in Karen.

It has been established that Area OCS went to De Paul and warned owners that the meeting would not be allowed to happen.

Despite turning to SKM, Azimio are not sure if police will again disrupt their gathering in their new venue.

” We are also not sure yet with SKM because there are plans to equally blockade the venue,” a source in Azimio revealed.

The coalition had indicated that the interdenominational requiem mass in honour of the slain and injured victims would be conducted at the De Paul Grounds in Karen, Nairob, before they switched the venue early Friday morning.

On Wednesday, Azimio leader Raila Odinga has visited Mama Lucy Hospital in Nairobi’s Eastlands area to console victims of alleged police brutality during last week’s demos.

The leaders assembled at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation for a brief meeting before visiting the victims, on Wednesday.
