9 Areas Azimio Will Hold Vigils Today

Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance has finally named nine places where tomorrow’s white flowers memorial vigil for alleged police brutality victims will take place and the exact time when the event will start.

According to Azimio statement, the vigil will start at 6 am with lighting of candles and laying of flowers, any kind of flowers at 9 places including hospitals, parks, bus stages, Churches, Markets, shopping centres, social halls, county assemblies and county headquarters.

Further the Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance has said that they will acquire candles and flowers by the end of today for the event.

Further,Azimio has also called on political parties, church and Faith organisations, civil society, community based organisations , youth and women groups, the academia and labour movement to lead in this activity.

Further,Azimio has instructed their supporters that after lighting the candles and laying wreath, they should organise themselves and sing Kenyan national anthem and say prayers for the departed.
