Azimio Announces 3 Days of Maandamano Every Week

Nairobi Senator and ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna announced that Azimio would be holding Maandamanos for three days every week.

Speaking during an interview at Citizen TV, Sifuna vowed that the opposition would not relent until President William Ruto heard their grievances.

From next week, Sifuna announced that Maandamanos would be held consecutively on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until Ruto understood that people were suffering.

According to Sifuna, the demos would end when Ruto repealed the punitive Finance Act 2023, the same way he imposed it upon them.

Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale remarking on the issue called Sifuna a coward who could not organise a proper debate in the Parliament but instead went to the streets.

He further called Sifuna unelectable and the only reason he won the Nairobi Senatorial seat was because of ethnic balancing by Raila Odinga and ODM Party.
