The First Daughter has been vocal about venturing into apiculture and has consistently shared her experience.

She recently announced that she incorporates the bottom-up model borrowed from her father to name the models of the hives. Her love for the insects has seen her change her Instagram bio to read: “Bee Mum”.

“I didn’t start this beekeeping project from scratch myself, I took it over this year…so I am adding my pizazz to it! It has to be pretty & attractive. Branding was very important for me. I took time to label the beehouses, chose the colours for the new beehives & branded them,” she stated.

“We turned the hive upright, harvested the honey present and named it “Bottom Up” to easily observe its progress,” she added.
