UDA MP EXPOSED FOR BEING RAILA’S MOLE

Kenyans left suprised after this news rnerged. Gathoni Muchomba, an MP for Githunguri, has chosen to lead the opposition to the bill, but unlike Kangata, who submitted an open letter to the President, Muchomba says she will speak to the authorities at every chance because “if I face them one on one, they will term me as a rebel.”

The member claimed that since the housing levy, the advanced tax, and the turnover tax—all of which aim to tax small businesses—had all been rejected by the courts, it was only reasonable for the government to take them out of the bill.

Wamuchomba said that it was absurd for the government to provide subsidies for fertilizer while also recommending an increase in taxes on agricultural inputs, arguing that this would negatively effect farmers and drive up the cost of life. 

Mukurweini MP John Kaguchia expressed his confusion regarding Wamuchomba’s stance on the bill. He stated that during the parliamentary group meeting at State House, the bill was thoroughly explained to all the leaders, and they declared their understanding and support for it.

Kaguchia raised suspicions about Wamuchomba’s motivations, suggesting that she may be working for someone else to advance an agenda aimed at undermining the government. However, he did not provide further details about these suspicions.

In response, Wamuchomba reiterated her commitment to persisting in her opposition to the bill, regardless of the labels placed upon her. She emphasized that the contentious issues within the bill remained unresolved and vowed to continue her efforts without fear or bias.

Wamuchomba revealed that attempts were made to silence her when she initially raised concerns regarding the principle of one man one vote one shilling. She stated that she was accused of being manipulated or influenced by external forces. However, she expressed her determination to continue speaking up for the rights of the people, refusing to remain silent on the matter.
