MOSES KURIA CHASED OUT OF KENYA KWANZA

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria is accusing Kiambu Women Rep Gathoni Wa Muchomba and UDA of kicking him out of a Kenya Kwanza campaign meeting.

In a social media post, accompanied by a video of their confrontation, the lawmaker noted that he had forgiven them noting that they would win the presidential elections but it was not yet time.

“Gathoni wa Muchomba and UDA, for chasing me from a Kenya Kwanza meeting, I forgive you. FYI we will win the Presidential election but not yet,” Kuria said.

In the video, Wa Muchomba is heard telling Kuria that that was her meeting and that he should’t interfere.

“This meeting belongs to me. Kindly you (Kuria) don’t come to interfere. We don’t want to get angered by men,” Wa muchomba told Kuria off.

In a quick rejoinder however, she released a statement explaining what led to the confrontation.

According to her, Kuria went to her meeting uninvited and was demanding to address the meeting.

“Dear Moses Kuria, I am a woman who must be allowed to campaign without violence; you stormed into my meeting without even respect as your colleague just because I am a woman?

If it was a man’s meeting would you force yourself in uninvited? You even demanded to address the meeting by force? You have abused me and other women in vulgarity in the past and I forgave you. Now you are at it again . Nakuachia Mungu Alindaye wamama.Huwezi shindana na Mungu! Nakuachia Mungu tu!” Wa Muchomba said.

Wa Muchomba further shared a letter that she had addressed to Kiambu County’s returning officer about the incident.

In the letter, she said that the incident occurred on July 28 in Mitahuto-Ndegwa ward around 4pm. Wa Muchomba said that Kuria was in the company of other aspirants of his Chama Cha Kazi as well as Independent candidates.
