POPULAR MP LINKED TO SHAKAHOLA MASSACRE

Preliminary investigations have linked former Kesses Member of Parliament MP Swarup Mishra to human body organ trafficking.

Detectives reportedly established that Mishra had been in regular communication with the main suspect in Shakahola Forest massacre, Pastor Paul Mackenzie.

Police reported that the owner of Mediheal Group of Hospitals has been in frequent communication with the Malindi cult leader now in police custody.

Out of the 140 dead bodies exhumed from Shakahola, report claimed that a sizeable number of them have no vital body organs, raising questions as to whether the suspects were involved in the lucrative body parts trade.

Authorities, therefore, have every reason to link the findings to the claims of harvesting and trafficking of the missing body parts like kidney, hearts, livers etc.

Mediheal Group of Hospitals founded by politician Mishra has a history of accusations of illegal organ transplantation – though the owner has never been proven guilty in court.

In one alarming instance, a Kenyan family once made allegations that, while at one of the facilities owned by Mishra, their kin was removed a kidney without family’s consent. The victim would then succumb. This took place in 2019.

But amid the accusations, Mediheal Group of Hospitals has distanced itself from the claims of body organ harvesting business.

In a statement, the hospital’s management absolved its proprietor Swarup Mishra from any links with self-proclaimed preacher, Paul Mackenzie.

The management further observed that Kenya is among the few African countries that prides itself on its wherewithal technology and capacity for solutions to do with renal and nephrological disorders.

The management, therefore, assured their clients that it will continue to value human life for as long as the facility is still in health care business.
