Kisii Governor Simba Arati, Tuesday, fend off social media attacks on his family describing them as Satanic-inspired and unwarranted.

Arati said he does not eat dogs and described the rumor as instigated by the devil himself.

”They have now stooped low as to allude that I eat dogs, we don’t eat dogs. Let them leave my family out of my political life,” Arati said.

“But they shall be defeated in the name of Jesus, they shall fall.”

Arati said he has been fighting dark forces since he came to office as governor.

“Who doesn’t know that I married from China? Now people are fighting me online and all over trying to figure out even what we eat, ‘” Arati said.

The governor spoke during a meeting with village community health workers at Gusii Stadium.

About 2,900 community volunteer officers were paid Sh4,000 as a stipend.
