UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES TO BE PAID 10K MONTHLY.

Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) Babu Owino 

says he plans to propose amendments to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission Act.

The proposed amendments seek to increase different professionals’ salaries like doctors and nurses.

“I want to bring an amendment, (SIC) SRC Act to allow the Salaries and Remuneration Commission to review salaries of various professionals in this nation at regular intervals,” said Babu.

“Doctors salaries must be reviewed upwards. Nurses’ salaries must be reviewed upwards,” he added.

The second term MP also wants the government to give unemployed university graduates a KSh10,000 monthly stipend.

“Every university graduate should be given at least KSh10,000 a month before they get a job.”
