KALONZO REVEALS HIS NEXT POLITICAL PLAN.

After the devastating political loss of Azimio la Umoja coalition in the 9th August general elections, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is reported to have already placed his eyes on the presidency in 2027 polls and is earnestly placing his house in order ready to challenge William Ruto who will hopefully be defending his seat for a second term.

In the new plot Kalonzo is said to be planning to leverage on his close political ties with Raila and Uhuru Kenyatta and expects them to play the kingmaker role, in his favour, this time round.

With Kalonzo’s presidential ambition becoming pronounced as days go by, Azimio coalition running mate Martha Karua and Jubilee party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni are also said to be taking strategic positions and interest in the next polls.

According to Nation, Jeremiah Kioni is currently instrumental in the Jubilee party affairs especially after the retirement of President Uhuru Kenyatta, though he is still the party leader.

“In the wings is Martha Karua, Odinga’s presidential running mate, waiting for her opportunity. There is also Jeremiah Kioni, the Jubilee Secretary-General, who is increasingly becoming the face of the party.” Nation reports.

Kalonzo’s early strategies for 2017 appears to emulate William Ruto’s political moves that finally bore fruits. Ruto began campaigning for the presidency immediately after they were sworn in for the second term in 2017.
