VIDEO OF MALALA CRYING LIKE A BABY

Voting counting is underway in Kakamega County after residents went to the ballot today to elect their new governor. The voting exercise started at 6 am and ended at 5 pm.

The titanic battle in the race to replace Wycliffe Oparanya, who has served his two maximum constitutional terms, is between ODM candidate Fernandes Barasa and outgoing Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala.

Preliminary results have started streaming in and things are not looking good for Malala. Barasa has taken an early and commanding lead.

The results appear to favour Barasa, who had the blessings of ODM leader Raila Odinga and Oparanya.

However, it is still early to call the election since tens of polling stations have not posted their figures.

Kakamega is considered to be one of the most loyal strongholds of Raila.
