PRESIDENT UHURU PRAISES RUTO

On Thursday, President Uhuru Kenyatta thanked spiritual leaders for their assistance throughout his soon-to-be-completed administration.

The departing president gave them his assurances of a peaceful transition during the meeting.

The interfaith group, which had paid Uhuru a courtesy visit at the State House, praised him for his leadership, saying it had contributed to Kenyans’ sense of peace, stability, and unity.

They also thanked the departing President for paving the way for inclusivity for all people and promoting an unified Kenya.

Archbishop Martin Kivuva of the Mombasa Catholic Archdiocese, Archbishop Antony Muheria of Nyeri, and Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit of the Anglican Church were among the group’s leaders.

Additionally present was Hassan Ole Naado, the deputy secretary general of the Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims (SUPKEM).

Sheikh Yusuf Nasur Maki, Philip Anyolo, the archbishop of the Nairobi Catholic Archdiocese, and Bishop Emeritus David Oginde were among the other clergy members present during the gathering.

Along with Father Ferdinard Lugonzo, Canon Chris Kinyanjui, and Bishop Emeritus Silas Yego, Robert Langat, and Chris Kinyanjui were also present.
