The fact that DP Ruto’s team has now moved to court to block the petition that had been filed to block them suggests that they are highly confident in their chances of winning the upcoming elections.

The source claims that they referred to their opponents’ action as a misuse of the legal system.

They demanded that the petition be withdrawn so that they could use their jurisdictional rights free from opposition.

This comes after the petition filed against them claimed that swearing them into office while their cases are still pending would be seriously unconstitutional.

This followed the graft cases brought against Rigathi Gachagua and the other accusations made against William Ruto.
