DP RUTO’S EMOTIONAL MESSAGE TO RIFT VALLEY PEOPLE

Deputy President William Ruto yesterday asked voters in his Rift Valley backyard not to let him down, asking them to vote for him in next month’s election.

Speaking in Trasmara, Narok County, Ruto rallied residents to back him saying he had a clear agenda for the country.

“I request all Rift Valley residents, including Narok, to stick with me. I have clearly spelt out the development agenda for the region and the country,” said Ruto who also asked voters to vote for Kenya Kwanza candidates.

He hit out at his opponents whom he said lacked a clear agenda saying they had resorted to hate speech and name calling.

The DP has in the past two days campaigning in Narok, Migori, Kisii and Nyamira counties. He was accompanied by Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula, Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi, Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ngeno, Lemanken Aramat (Narok East) and Catherine Waruguru (Laikipia).

In Kisii, Ruto asked his rival Raila Odinga to stop complaining about the IEBC.
