LIST OF LEADERS IN RIFT VALLEY WHO HAVE BEEN GIVEN A 30 DAY NOTICE OR GET CRUSHED

Opponents of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) in Rift Valley have been given a one-month ultimatum to change their political stand or face the electorate’s punishment at the ballot in the August general election.

Speaking at a political rally held in Eldoret Sports Club, Emurua Dikir Member of Parliament (MP) Johana Ng’eno said the opponents of Deputy President William Ruto in Rift Valley including Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny and his Moiben counterpart Silas Tiren, are considered as betrayers and should not be re-elected.

“As we release our kingpin William Ruto to look for votes from the rest of the country, we also want to sanitise his home ground by ensuring we bring all leaders on board. From this ground, we are giving our betrayers a one-month notice to join us or get crushed,” Ng’eno said.

On his part, Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot urged Rift Valley residents not to worry about Kutuny because he has a place for him outside Parliament.

“Our people don’t worry about Kutuny. I have already secured him a charcoal selling store in Kachibora where he will be operating from after August,” the Senator said.

He also asked the people of Kesses Constituency not to elect their MP Swarup Mishra in the next general election for going against the country’s second-in-command.

Cheruiyot said Mishra used his position as a lawmaker to enrich himself instead of doing his parliamentary role.

“When Mishra came to this country he was just a poor person, but after clinching Kesses constituency seat, he grew rich. In fact, what he has been donating belongs to you,” he added.

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen said Mishra misused the generosity of Kesses electorate who supported him overwhelmingly in the 2017 elections.

“Our people were so good to Mishra to the extend of giving him a Kalenjin name, Kiprop Arap Chelulei. The MP betrayed us by supporting those who have been frustrating William Ruto Ruto,” Murkomen said.
