The beautiful and elegant house is known to be Mua Hills mansion located in Maanzoni, Machakos county. It is owned by Nairobi ex-governor and Mombasa county gubernatorial aspirant, Mike Mbuvi Sonko.

Its construction cost sh150 million and he built it when he was still Nairobi county’s senator. It has unique designs and features that make it outstanding and actually one of a kind.

It has a perimeter wall made of gold and on the its front, the name Sonko’s Family is embedded. There are three life size sculptures of lions at the entrance.

At the compound, there’s a basketball court, ostrich pen, exotic bird’s pen, large parking lot and a masouleum of his late father, Kioko Kivanguli. In the inside of the two floored mansion is a gym, conference halls ,guest house ,fully stocked bar, gazebo and lounge.

The names of Sonko’s family members are written on the floor inside the house while walls and windows are made of tinted glass. At the rooftop is an infinity edge swimming pool.
