FINALLY: CBC TO BE SCRAPPED OFF.

It is a good news and also bad news to some after it was announced that competency based curriculum (CBC) will be scrapped off.

Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi has said the Kenya Kwanza government would scrap off the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) to end confusion in the education system.

He spoke on Saturday, February 5, during the Kenya Kwanza Alliance meet the people tour of Kwale county.

“We need an education system that everyone understands. One which the teachers can well handle, teachers can manage well and is understood by the learners,” said Mudavadi.

He also said that if elected to form the next government, the Kenya Kwanza administration will improve healthcare services.

“We also want businesses to thrive. We should make commodities affordable at all levels,” said the ANC party leader.

Mudavadi indicated that the Kenya Kwanza, meet the people tour of Kwale county revealed that more had to be done to revive and support the mining and exportation sector.

“Our priority will be to support viable options in the exploitation of limestone, titanium, coal, sandstones among other minerals and ensure value addition at low cost with a sense of tapping into a ready market for the minerals and their by-products,” Mudavadi explained.

According to the former One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principal, other economic activities, including agriculture, fishing, and commercial businesses, will also call for deep scrutiny on boosting those sectors to benefit the people of Kwale and the coastal region at large.
