GOVT ANNOUNCES 1000 PAID INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: APPLY HERE

The County Government of Uasin Gishu has announced Public Service Board internship opportunities for the eligible individuals.

The Uasin Gishu County Government says that it is rolling out a program to give youths especially the fresh graduates, internship positions for the year 2021/2022. The county government says that the aim of this program is to provide an opportunity for unemployed graduates a chance to gain practical experience in work. 

The Public Service Board in Uasin Gishu County has therefore called upon the eligible applicants who have relevant qualifications to apply for the paid internship opportunities. The application is however divided as per academic qualifications. 

The County Government indicates that it is going to employ 300 degree holders who will be receiving Kshs. 13,500 monthly stipends. Additionally, the Uasu Gishu County Government announces that it will employ another group of 300 diploma holders during the same internship program. The diploma holders will be paid monthly stipends of Kshs. 11,500. 

Additionally, 400 certificate holders will be employed on internship program who will be receiving Kshs. 8,500 monthly stipends. 

Successful applicants will be on internship for one year (12 months). The requirements for the internship is a degree/diploma or certificate from a recognized institution in relevant areas of specialization. The applicants are also expected to have valid certificate of good conduct.

However those who had benefited from the program before will not be absorbed. Additionally, it is not mandatory for the applicants to have previous work experience in their field of specialization.
