Kameme TV presenter, Jeff Njoroge, was rushed to a hospital in Ruiru, Kiambu County after his car collided with another personal vehicle on Tuesday, June 1.

The Kigwa Kuhihwo Murio show presenter’s car was reported to have collided with the other car which was speeding towards the Thika Superhighway

Both cars landed in a ditch a few kilometres from the OJ area in Ruiru constituency. 

The show presenter spoke to the People Daily and allayed fears that he had incurred critical injuries.

“It’s true I was involved in an accident this evening along the bypass. 

“However, I am safe and I thank God for life,”Njoroge stated. 

The accident came a few hours after Kenyan International goalkeeper Patrick Matasi and his family were also involved in an accident along the Nairobi-Kakamega Highway.

Their car was reported to have rolled severally along Lesos in Kapsabet. The accident was allegedly caused by a tire burst of the Toyota Vitz car.

“Matasi has been involved in an accident at Kapsabet on his way to Nairobi from Kakamega and he was travelling alongside his wife and son but they have been rushed to hospital.

“They are all injured but out of danger. Their car was also damaged,” a close friend to the Saint George, Ethiopia star stated. 

Matasi and the family were reportedly given first aid at the accident scene before they were rushed to Kakamega Referral Hospital for further treatment.
