KPLC TO SWITCH OFF ELECTRICITY IN THESE REGIONS. CHECK IF YOU ARE AFFECTED.

Kenya power and lighting company has announced that they will be switching off electricity in some parts of Kenya.

According to the revived rule, the company has to inform the public about any planned long electricity switch off. This enables the public to plan prior as a large number of Kenyans are using electricity for business.

In accordance to their post today, the company is planning to switch off electricity in Garissa and Tana River county. This is because they will be finishing on a repair at Garissa substation.

The company will switch off the power for only five fours: From 7am to 12pm. They noted that they will shut down the Mwingi-Garissa 132v high voltage on Saturday 17th.
