MAN SURPRISED BY HIS FIVE WIVES

Five women from a village in Uganda left residents amused after they threw a surprise party for their polygamous wife to mark thirty years of peaceful existance.

The party organized at the first wife’s home in Iganga town coincided with Hajji Mohammad Ngobi’s 57th birthday.

Ngobis is a prominent businessman and Prime Minister of the Nagwere clan.

Aisha Namatende, Zulufah Nampina, Sumaya Ngobi, Hajjati Lamulal Ngobi, Aminah Namukose and Sharifah Ngobi have kept an unprecidented friendship in an area where polygamy is not common.

According to the women, Hajji has ensured that they live peacefully and has never discriminated any of them.

“I have been able to build a house for each of my wives and they all have a business. Before I add another one, I am always open to the new one to know that she is not alone, but that there other women as well,” said a visibly emotional Hajji who shed tears while thanking his wives for the party.

The ceremony was presided over by Sheikk Ngobi who urged the audience to emulate the five women.
