MP ACCUSES RAILA OF LYING. DUMPS BBI

Malava Constituency Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Injendi has changed his earlier stance on supporting the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI).

The MP while speaking at his constituency in Kakamega on Friday said his Governor Wycliffe Oparanya and the Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) leader Raila Odinga duped him into what he later found out was supporting the BBI.

“I want to tell Raila and Oparanya that I did not expect to meet him(Raila). Oparanya you never told me that I was to meet Raila, I would have refused,” Said Injendi.

“You took me to see Raila where we talked and talked, although I never comprehended what we talked about,” he added.

MP Injendi said whatever happened in that meeting is now null and void.

“I was surprised because I didn’t understand what we were talking about. I wanted us to discuss matters of my constituency while you introduced a completely new subject. All that about Oparanya and Raila, I say riswa,” he remarked.

The Jubilee law-maker apologised to his constituents for being “misled into” supporting the BBI. He said he will not “dance reggae”.

“Raila saw my hands shaking and thought that I was dancing the reggae. I am a Christian and I refuse to dance the reggae,” he added.

He promised to politically support the Deputy President William Ruto and said his whole family is also behind him(DP).

On November 27, MP Injendi said he would differ with the Deputy President on supporting the BBI. He said the BBI contents would be good for his constituents.
