MODERN COAST BUS CATCHES FIRE

A Modern Coast bus that was headed to Mombasa caught fire today.

The unfortunate accident happened between Salama and Makindu at Masimba in Makueni County.

According to witnesses, the fire emanated from underside the bus and spread to engulf the whole bus.

No passenger has been reported hurt but most passengers have suffered huge loses as goods of untold amount have burnt. The bus was burned to ashes.

“The passengers fell on each other as they disembarked when the bus stopped.

No one was injured during the fracas,” a witness told the Nation.

Passengers were stranded as they demanded for the company to provide alternative transport.
