Papa Shirandula was arguably the best actor to grace our TV screens. For over a decade the star has entertained us through his show Papa Shirandula as well as several films.

Not only did Papa Shirandula entertain us, he has also mentored tens of actors directly and indirectly as well as being a source of inspiration to many.

Papa’s death hit his friend Njoro harder than most. Papa and Njoro have been together since day one. Njoro found a brother in Papa. They made Kenyan comedy fun and behind the scenes they became family.

As we laid Papa to rest today, Njoro stood by his grave lost. The pain was evident. A part of him was gone. Challyh News offers condolences to Njoro for losing such a dear friend.
