Raila Requests all Supporters to Join Him at Milimani Law Court

Azimio Jas issued an important late-night message to its golfers, urging them to turn up in large numbers today at the Makadara law courts.

In the important message shared on their X handle, formerly known as Twitter, the Azimio coalition called on its supporters support for today at exactly 8.30 a.m.

Why exactly does the Azimio coalition want their supporters to rally behind them at Makadara law courts tomorrow? Well, according to the post, it’s in regards to a landmark case happening at the law courts tomorrow.

The speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetangula had declared the Kenya Kwanza coalition the ruling majority coalition in the national assembly and thus granted them the power of the majority.

This decision was bitterly contested by some Azimio supporters and legislators, and among those who challenged the decision are Kenneth Njagi Njiru and 11 other Kenyans who took up the matter at the Kenyan court.

Collectively, the group challenged Speaker Wetangula’s pronouncement of Kenya Kwanza as the majority coalition, and tomorrow the first mention of the case happens.
