Rail Odinga Politically Deconstructed in Turkana

Azimio leader Raila Odinga was on Friday, forced to watch in disbelief after one of the woman MCAs from Turkana County took to the stage and lectured him thoroughly.

Raila, who was attending Turkana Cultural Festival was met with stern lectures from one of the MCAs, who took Raila head on, demanding answers as to why the opposition chief has abandoned the region and has never nominated any leader from the region to either National Assembly or Senate.

In the video which has gone viral, the woman MCA is heard deconstructing Raila, questioning why he had neglected them despite standing with him for a long time.

She took on the former premier reminding him that he chose his daughter Winnie Odinga for EALA and never nominated any leader from the region to any position in parlaiment

“I will not shy off from saying the truth, I am a UDA party MCA and I only fear God and electricity. Raila is like our elder and he is welcomed here…but we should be respected. I will tell it directly to the face, we loved you like Jesus but you hated us like satan. Those who died with you from here have not received any nomination yet you nominated your daughter to the EALA MP position. How many of our sons and daughters have you employed here? we love Ruto because he has given one of us Ekwe Ethuro a seat. There is no Turkana employed in your office, you have never uplifted any of us,” she stated

“I will not lie to you, unlike these other ones who have drunk something. You are our father but you have sidelined us when giving out nominations to other tribes. You cannot continue taking us for a ride,” added the woman MCA.
