MCA Arrested After He Was Caught Defiling a Minor

A member of the county assembly from Busia County has been arrested over allegations of defiling a minor. 

The MCA was arrested on Friday in Bunyala Sub-county and placed in the custody of officers at the Port Victoria Police Station. 

“On September 22, 2023, an MCA in Bunyala Sub-county was arrested at Port Victoria Police Station for the offence of defilement,” officers said.

Police said the suspect is under custody pending to be arraigned on Monday, September 25, 2023.
