Ruto and Raila Sets a Date to Meet At The State House

President William Ruto revealed the dinner he has scheduled with the former prime minister Raila Odinga while addressing in Nyeri at a thanksgiving.

The former prime minister, Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga, was welcomed to Statehouse for tea by the president of state, Hon. William Samoei Ruto, who also made it clear that punishing legislators for going to Statehouse was not the best course of action.

He sent him a letter asking him to pardon them so they could cooperate with the administration and help the populace.

He admitted that due to his hectic schedule, Raila had been invited to a VIP dinner at the Statehouse but was unable to attend.

He advised all the leaders to join together in order to foster peace since it was time to put aside their disagreements and concentrate on transformation by seeking the Lord’s advice. He made it clear that the clergy will keep up their efforts to bring about peace.

The son of MAU MAU may not be happy to receive Mr Odinga at the state house after disclosing that he has installed traps to detect the presence of the former prime minister.
