Raila Assigns New Roles to Junet Mohammed

The opposition leader Raila Odinga addressed his supporters, explaining why Junet Mohammed has been absent from public appearances since the conclusion of last year’s general elections.

Raila revealed that Junet is currently out of the country on an assignment given by him, and they both were recently in the United Kingdom along with Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga.

He acknowledged Junet’s dedication to the ODM party and their strong friendship. Raila explained that Junet’s exceptional work has led to a new responsibility, preventing him from attending today’s rally.

This clarification was necessary during Raila’s Migori County tour, which had been postponed earlier due to a cholera outbreak.

Junet however has been seen last addressing the Parliament over the controversial world coin saga. He was again spotted in UK. His absence has however caused speculations that he had fallen out with the ODM officials and Raila Odinga.
