Politicians Who Attended Wetangula Son’s Wedding

National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula’s son, Alvin, tied the note with the love of his life, Naisula Leteipan, at a lavish wedding held at their rural home in Bungoma County.

In the traditional nuptial, Alvin Wetangula donned a green suit embroidered with patterns of a similar colour on the collar and arms.

On the other hand, the bride celebrated her culture by wearing an aquamarine green laced dress with traditional headgear.

The Saturday event was graced by the friends and family of the former Bungoma Senator – who was missing from President William Ruto’s Western tour, which commenced in Busia County on the same day.

Among those in attendance were Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria, Governors Joseph Ole Lenku (Kajiado) and Kenneth Lusaka (Bungoma).

Other notable leaders present were Deputy Speaker Gladys Shollei and former Speaker Francis Ole Kaparo, among other members of parliament.

During the wedding, Wetangula penned an emotional letter to his son as he marked a key milestone in his life.

As a father, he stated that he was filled with joy seeing his son find a companion who would continue helping him grow into an outstanding man and father.

He reminisced about Alvin’s childhood, describing him as a hardworking man who would take care of Leteipan and their future children.

“Always remember, love is not just about the beautiful moments; it’s about standing together during the storms and finding strength in each other’s presence.

“Cherish and nurture the bond you share, for it will be the foundation of your future. May your days be filled with laughter, your challenges be opportunities for growth, and your hearts forever intertwined,” he advised.
