Ruto’s Recent Move Causes Unease in US

President William Ruto’s decision to continue engaging the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India and China) is causing unease to the United States and the Europe as allegedly revealed in reports by an independent Journal called Eurasia Review.

According to the reports, Kenya and Ethiopia has showed their loyalty by partnering with the BRICS and possibly they may also make Somalia to also show interest in joining the BRICS.

Somalia and Kenya are key players in helping USA in combating terrorism and their decision to join the BRICS would make it difficult for the US and Europe to rely on them.

According to the reports, BRICS have always shown interest to extend similar efforts to Kenya and Somalia with expectations of receiving back from the countries in one way or the other. This has been keenly looked into as it has raised concerns among the other well established Nations especially in the west.

Since Ruto took over power, he has received supply of fertilizers from Russia which has greatly impacted the Country. Similarly, the benefits that Kenya may get from BRICS are numerous even and this is expected to undermine the balance of power the west has the region.

This efforts has caused unease for the US and Europe as this dominance may destabilise their efforts in Kenya. Ruto has not declared his stand on joining BRICS despite engaging them.
