Azimio Leaders to Boycott The Meeting

The former Prime Minister and the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya alliance flagbearer Raila Amollo Odinga allies have threatened to boycotts Eldoret’s devolution meeting if Raila is not given an official invitation so that he can share his thoughts.

According to MCA of Kileleshwa Ward in Nairobi, Raila is a father of devolution and needs to be invited to share his experience of 13 years.

Pressure is seemingly mounting as the day draw near after parents of Eldoret students threatened to also disrupt the conference.

Parents who claim that millions of dollars in school fees that they paid for their children to attend in Finland and Canada were stolen by Uasin Gishu County government employees have rejected requests to delay their demand for a refund of their money until the conclusion of the devolution conference scheduled for Eldoret the following week.

If the devolved unit did not give the parents their money back, they threatened to interrupt the conference in a crisis meeting with the county leadership.

A dad from Ziwa named Julius Rono said that he had sold his five-acre property to pay for the education of her three children in the Finnish county, but that this had not happened. He asserted that he paid the tuition for his three children in April of last year.
