Ruto Declines Raila’s Demands

Head of state President William Ruto has declined Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga demand for a foreign a former president to be included in the talks as he issues new orders to the Azimio team.

President William Ruto has declined Raila’s demand that former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo be a mediator in the Kenya Kwanza -Azimio talks while saying Azimio had been requested not to mention the name of Obasanjo in any public statement but they failed to honour the request.

Ruto has therefore ordered that there will be no discussion on whatever nature on matters of handshake or nusu mkate and that Violence shall nolonger and shall never be part of Kenya’s political discourse.

Ruto has subsequently appointed Kimani Ichungwah, UDA National Chairperson and Embu County Governor Cecily Mbarire, EALA MP Hassan Omar, Kericho County Senator and Majority Leader in the senate Aaron Cheruiyot and Catherine Wambilianga.
