How Sudan Number Plates Got Pauline Njoroge in Trouble

When police arrested digital strategist Pauline Njoroge on Saturday, the initial statement shared was that she was to be charged for possession of over 60 tablets of suspected narcotics substance.

Today, the extent of charges having been extended to include her critical posts about the government.

One is where she accused the government of using cars with Sudan number plates to arrest politicians engaged in civil disobedience.

In total, the blogger is being charged of publishing four misleading posts which aimed to cause division and panic in the country.

Two of the posts were in attack on the person of President William Ruto in discharging his constitutional duty as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and Head of State.

The last post was accusing the police force of using brutal force when dealing with anti government protestors.
