Raila Forced to Change Route as Police Lobbies Teargas

Azimio One Kenya Coalition motorcade was forced to change route after police officers engaged with stone throwing protesters in Nairobi.

Opposition leader Raila Odinga is expected to hold a huge rally at Kamukunji before heading to CBD.

Currently, they are pursuing another route to avoid clash that was happening between their supporters and security officers.

In Mombasa, supporters of Azimio leading demonstrations were forced to flee after tear gas was lobbed.

The rioters had carried colorful placards on Friday morning as they chanted, “We go! We go!” before being dispersed by the police.

As they marched, police were seen trying to stop the group before they lobbed tear gas canisters to disperse them.
