Kimani Ichung’wah Supports Kalonzo’s Maandamano

National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah supported Kalonzo Musyoka’s maandamano in Kathiani Town, Machakos Town.

In a statement, the Kikuyu MP noted that it was admirable that Kalonzo led a peaceful demonstration without any destruction of property.

On the same breath, the firebrand United Democratic Alliance (UDA) elected parliamentarian admonished Raila Odinga’s for his protest in the national capital.

“So the World can now confirm the well known fact that Violence, Anarchy, looting and Bloodshed are synonymous with Raila Odinga as Kalonzo Musyoka has proved today. You can indeed hold a peaceful demonstration as Kalonzo did in Kathiani as mzee wrecked havoc in Nairobi and Kisumu,” he posted.

Kimani Ichung’wah received opposition from his fans with one Moody Mokua writing, “This is just ‘divide and rule tactic’ that is neither here nor there, just keep your cool mhesh, I thought you embarked on telling us how you were busy plucking tea leaves in Kericho, just to realise that today’s demonstrations were more fire & they have threatened you.”

David Mwendwa in support wrote, “May be you should also talk about the police response in both instances. I was in Nairobi and I saw what was happening. The police were lobbing teargas everywhere unprovoked.”
