KALONZO FINALLY DECLARES SUPPORT FOR RUTO

The opposition’s ongoing criticism of President William Ruto’s administration appears to have the support of a few influential opposition figures.

The leader of the Wiper Party, Kalonzo Musyoka, alluded to the possibility of cooperating with the Kenya Kwanza administration of President Ruto on Sunday, but only under specific circumstances.

According to Kalonzo, Ukambani leaders, particularly governors, were presidents of the area while Ruto was in charge of the entire country; as a result, they had no choice but to cooperate with him for the sake of the Ukambani people.

Ruto needed to accomplish all of the development projects started by the previous administration, he said, if he wanted his backing.

Moreover, he declared that if Ruto embarked on initiatives that would assist his Ukambani people, he would give them his complete backing.

As an opposition leader, Kalonzo said he will continue to hold the Kenya Kwanza government responsible for its actions, notwithstanding his feelings about cooperating with Ruto.
