TWO GROUPS SET TO DEMONSTRATE TOMORROW

Government is currently under a lot of pressure. This Public Universities Staff has issued a notice to the government that they are going to demonstrate at the streets on Monday 3rd April 2023.

This is indeed a coincidence that will happen tomorrow as Raila has also promised demonstrations which will still happen tomorrow.

The government is now subjected under more pressure because two groups will move to the streets tomorrow to demonstrate for their rights.

The staff has not yet received their March salaries, the union secretary general Constantine Wasonga lamented in a media interview.

He issued a call for all employees of public universities to set up camp at the institutions’ finance departments until they received their pay.

“I want to issue a directive to all academic staff members: on Monday, if you haven’t received your pay, don’t come to work.Wesonga instructed, “Go to your various finance offices and wait there until you are paid.”

The union also demanded that the government remove all Vice Chancellors appointed in 2023 from their positions.
