RUTO DELIVERS BAD NEWS TO CAS NOMINEES

President William Ruto has explained why he settled on the 50 people he picked for Chief Administrative Secretaries posts.

Speaking on Thursday during their swearing-in ceremony, Ruto said the appointments were deliberate because he knows almost all of them have served in different capacities, previously.

The president said because of this, he understands most of them have good grasp of what service delivery to the people is, thus his decision to work with them.

He encouraged the newly sworn-in CASs to bring the same experience they have had previously into public service.

“I have deliberately appointed some of you because I am aware that you better understand service to the people because of your experience in serving in other capacities and I am looking forward to you bringing the experience you have gained elsewhere in the service of the people of Kenya in your new responsibilities,” Ruto said.

He reminded CASs that Kenyans have huge expectations of the Kenya Kwanza administration and they are now fully constituted and should deliver.

Ruto added that the people of Kenya are right to expect his administration to deliver on their campaign promise.

“Now with a fully constituted government, there is no reason we cannot deliver the bottom-up economic transformation agenda upon which our administration was elected.”

Just like in Cabinet Secretary appointments, Ruto’s CAS office holders are a mix of politicians and professionals.
