REST IN PEACE: RUTO IN DEEP MOURNING

The president of the republic of Kenya, Dr William Samoe Ruto has be thrown into mourning. This came in after Imam sheikh Mohammad Swalihu died.

As seen from his facebook post, the head of state mourned the departed soul by sending condolence message to the family and friends of Swalihu.

“Condolences to the family, friends and the Jamia Mosque Faithful for the loss of Imam Sheikh Muhammad Swalihu. May Allah grant you comfort at this painful time. Rest In Peace.” Said president William Ruto.

Muhammad Swalihu is said to have died today in the morning after battling cancer for a long time. Before his death, Swalihu visited Jamia Mosque for prayers.

He was born in the year 1949 in ndanu, Lamu county. He served as the Imam from the year 1995 until his sudden death. Reports says that he will be buried today in Kariokor. May his soul rest in peace.
