PRESIDENT UHURU THROWN INTO DEEP MOURNING.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has eulogised with the family of Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya following the death of his mother Sada Mgalla Nyawa.

Mgalla Nyawa died on Monday while receiving treatment in hospital.

According Kwale County communication team, Nyawa had been unwell for three weeks.

In his message of condolence, Uhuru said mourned Mama Sada as a strong, virtuous, and determined matriarch who raised an outstanding family.

Mama Sada will be buried today at the Mariakani in Kinango subcounty.

Other leaders have also sent their messages of condolences to the family.

Deputy President William Ruto eulogised Nyawa as a humble, hardworking, God-fearing, and responsible woman who raised upright children.

The DP also prayed for the family and their loved ones to have strength during the mourning period.

Also, ODM leader Raila Odinga mourned the death of Mama Sada.

“My deepest condolences go to Salim Mvurya, Governor of Kwale County, and his family following the passing of his mother Mama Sada Mgalla Nyawa. May God the Almighty grant the Mvurya family fortitude during this difficult moment,” Raila said.
