REASON WHY MEN DIE EARLIER THAN WOMEN

There are many reasons why the ratio of men to women (which is roughly equal in young adulthood) starts to favor women over time.

Popular culture may paint men as the stronger sex, but from the moment a boy is born, his life is more likely than his sister’s to be cut short.

The average Kenyan woman lives to age 66.5 years, compared to a man who lives up to 60.6 years, the 2022 Economic Survey has revealed.

The survey recently released by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) in Nairobi, also shows that the average age of a Kenyan man’s first marriage is 27, while women marry at 23 years.

Here are some of the possible reasons why men die earlier than women.

1.Nature Of Work.

Men have to provide for their families and so they will work it out to see that at the end of the day they have supplied meals on the table for their families.By this they end up doing various types of works only to get what they want.Some even end up working in chemical companies where they inhale chemicals and dirt as they work in order to make both ends meet.

They also do not choose the type of work to do.Some carry heavy languages in the streets which kills their immune system slowly by slowly.Unlike women who consider white collar jobs more than physical jobs that require masculinity

2.Drugs and Substance Abuse.

Many men oftenly abuse alchol,miraa,bang and cochineal in order to sooth self from Stressed caused by stree stimulants in life.They end up consuming large volumes of alchol which I true destroys their livers and kidneys causing serious condition in the body which in turn cause them to die.

Smoke from bang and tobacco predisposes them to lung and through cancer which contributes to their untimely death.In other hand women do not abuse drugs that’s why the tend to live longer than men.Women are not alcoholics as compared to men.

3.Curiosity.

Men are very curious in that they want to try everything and taste everything to see whether they can make both ebmnds meet.It is said that curiosity killed the cat.Men dare try some works in which at the end off them they end up developing serious conditions which propagate them to their graves.

Others love attending places where there is violence in order to get entertained.This also exposes their lives.For instance when they hear about a shooting somewhere they will run towards that place unlike women who will hide.Running towards danger exposes your life to death unlike hiding from danger.

4.Ignorance.

Many men are ignorant of their conditions.With this I mean that they rarely pay hospitals visits.The never go to hospitals for screenings and checkups.Some even when sick do not go to the hospital to be diagnosed and treated.

Some when seek only buy over the counter drugs take them and continue with life.This in a way derails their health because they cannot identify any condition in their bodies and manage it before it becomes a threat.
