AZIMIO POLITICIANS CHASED AWAY FROM SAKAJA’S SWEARING IN

Speaking to a local media house, Kileleshwa MCA-elect Robert Alai said the Azimio-allied MCAs were forced to leave the event held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) after realising that there were no seats reserved for them.

Alai elected on the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party ticket said they had been invited to grace the event.

We were invited to attend Sakaja’s swearing in ceremony and so we attended, but there were no seats for us.

So, we have been forced to leave,” said Alai. He went on: “Imagine swearing in the President without the MPs getting seats.

We were over 25. Out of the 45 Azimio MCAs. But we want to assure him (Sakaja) that as Azimio MCAs, we are ready to support him.”

TUKO.co.ke earlier reported that Sakaja has been sworn in as the Nairobi county boss.
