MAGOHA HAS RELEASED A TOUGH STATEMENT

Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha has said if students think by burning schools they will escape doing exams, then they must rethink.

While speaking to the media on Saturday, Magoha said those who burn schools will have to do the exams under trees.

Magoha also said parents will have to bare the burden of losses caused by fires in schools.

“If you burn a school, you are not punishing me but your parents as they are the ones to rebuild the buildings destroyed,” he said.

Magoha’s warnings came hours after a recent incident in Kisumu Boys where fire razed down a dormitory.
