Kenya Kwanza Alliance presidential running mate Rigathi Gachagua has constantly been making headlines since his appointment for the position in early May.

He had been on the spot for making considered controversial remarks that were quickly picked by their opponents to dismiss their candidature for the presidential seat.

On Saturday, July 16, the Kenya Kwanza led by Deputy President William Ruto traversed Kiambu county selling their agenda to the area electorate.

However, while at Banana, Gachagua was pictured distributing chapatis to the area residents.

According to the images seen by challyhnews, the Mathira MP, while atop his campaign vehicle, is seen dishing out the delicacy from a bucket. The amazed area residents are seen scrambling for them.

However, a section of social media users who weighed on the move questioned the hygiene condition of the meal as the lawmaker was holding them with bare hands.
